Fablebound Collective was born from a simple belief: that stories are among the most powerful forms of magic we have.

We’re two Melbourne-based best friends with a lifelong love of literature, beautiful design, and fictional worlds that feel far more compelling than reality most days. Honestly, you could say we spend more time in fantasy worlds than the real one… and that’s exactly how we like it!

As devoted readers (and people who have always absolutely judged books by their covers), we found ourselves returning to the same timeless stories again and again: tales of gods and mortals, yearning, adventure, fate, devotion, and beautifully flawed characters making terrible decisions. But too often, these classics lived in editions that didn’t reflect the magic within their pages.

So, we decided to give our favourite stories the re-packaging they deserve.

Fablebound Collective is our way of turning beloved books from ordinary into heirlooms — thoughtfully designed editions created to be read, displayed, collected, gifted, and treasured for years to come. Because we believe bookshelves are more than storage; they’re our most travelled pieces of art. Tiny portals into the worlds that shaped us.

And for us, the reading experience doesn’t end with the final page. Alongside our editions, we’re building a collection of carefully curated bookish pieces and reading accessories designed to add a little more magic to the ritual of reading.
